About Steve
Most of Steve's professional career has been in a studio environment recording with musicians with impressive past histories including members from 'The Boomtown Rats', 'Asia', 'P.I.L', 'Siouxsie and the Banshees', 'Psychedelic Furs', 'Zodiac Mindwarp', 'The Sweet', 'Suzi Quatro', 'Jesus Jones' and 'Mud'.
World renowned old master Jim Chapin personally complimented him on his playing as did Dom Famularo (session), Charlie Morgan (Elton John), Doane Perry (Jethro Tull), and Nicko Mcbrain (iron Maiden).
In the past Steve's name has been put forward by other fellow drummers to play for world class acts such as 'Judas Priest', 'U.F.O', 'The Little Angels', 'Mindfunk', 'The Cult', 'Jennifer Batten', 'ACDC' and 'Bruce Dickinson'.
Album credits and European tours include bands such as 'The Hellfire Club', 'F.T.W', 'Pandora's Box', 'The Marrionettes', 'Pancracker', 'Fibrehead', 'Ani Frank' and 'The Morgans' who later went on to support 'Theatre of Hate' and then opened for 'Metallica' on their 'load' album release.
Steve then went on to play for Aussie band 'The Screaming Jets' in front of 45,000 people at the 'Rock Am Ring' festival in 1996 alongside class acts such as 'Faith no More', 'Robert Plant', 'The Black Crowes', 'Ugly Kid Joe' and 'Def Leppard'. As a result of his performance he was asked to complete the rest of the Jets British tour supporting 'Ugly Kid Joe'.
Steve has done numerous press interviews, one being a four page write up in 'Rhythm Magazine' which was circulated around Britain and the U.S.A.
Other tabloids include 'Melody Maker', 'Metal Hammer' and 'Kerrang'. as well as other reviews by the companies that sponsor him.
Steve still plays with full endorsement deals from Paiste Cymbals, Premier Drums, D.W Pedals and A.K.G microphones and is now available for tours and session work.
Steve is also the sole inventor of the 'Double Drop Clutch'.
